Created in response to a growing population of sophisticated, discriminating television viewers in the desert, KCET Desert Cities is a new round-the-clock lifestyle channel created by KCET exclusively for Coachella Valley residents.

Available only on Time Warner Digital Cable, KCET Desert Cities offers a 24-hour line-up of everything from cooking to culture, golf to gardening, hobbies to health. You'll also enjoy original video segments featuring visits to favorite local restaurants, interviews, and helpful tips on home decor, tennis, and landscaping.

Art of Food and Wine Festival

Popular KCET Desert Cities on-air chef, Kris Capra, hosted a special dinner and fundraiser at her Palm Springs home with popular PBS chef Joanne Weir to celebrate the release of Weir's lastest cookbook, Wine Country Cooking. The book offers a wonderful collection of 150 recipes and wine pairings, and is a companion to Weir's newest PBS series. Philip di Belardino, vice president of fine wines for Banfi Wines, provided excellent wine to compliment the exquisite Italian feast prepared by the Capra family.
